What is a happy bee?

YorokoBee!

Magnetic 3D printed Bee.  Just like the bee but with a joyful smile.  The bee wings, bee black  stripes and bee outline are made of flexible black Thermoplastic Polyurethane while the inner yellow parts are harder Plastic.  Embedded is a disc magnet.  In addition, a separate yellow plastic Hexagon encasing another magnet to enhance the magnets' "snappiness".

As a bonus, we started creating interchangeable and 3D printable glasses.  See this location for free 3d printable STL files (Bee Glasses 3D Printable PLA Parts (Free Download) - GaiGene).  A toothpick is added to aid glasses insertion.  There are 2 types of glasses:

  1. Side 1 Glasses where the "ear piece" would fit above the eyes and
  2. Side 2 Glasses where the "ear piece" would fit below the eyes.

The reason for the 2 types of glasses is so you can wear glasses on both sides of the bee without them hitting each other.  One set would fit above the eyes, while the other set would fit below the eyes.  The glasses are fragile and care must be taken when inserting.  But we provide free 3D printable Glasses here.  Or email (info@gaigene.com) and we'll mail more to you at no charge.

Instructions For Glasses Insertion:
Gently insert the toothpick between the Black TPU (soft foam) and the PLA face above or below where you insert the ear piece.  Then with the tooth pick creating a space between the Black TPU and PLA, gently insert one ear piece 1/4-1/2 way between the TPU and PLA.  Remove the tooth pick and re insert the toothpick as before between the Black TPU (soft foam) and PLA face above or below the other eye (same face side).  Again gently insert the other ear piece 1/4-1/2 way in the space created by the inserted toothpick.  Now with both ear pieces partly inserted, remove the toothpick and gently push the ear pieces completely in.
